Terms & Conditions


The “Seller” is defined as the legal entity Cookie Delicious. The “Buyer”  and/or "you" means the person (legal or natural) who buys the goods. “Goods” , "Cake" and/or "Cookies" is defined as the items to be supplied by the Seller to the Buyer as listed in the Cake File/Invoice.

These Terms and conditions shall apply to the sale of the Goods by the Seller to the Buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions referred except where the Seller has agreed to such variation in writing and by way of signature. By ordering from Cookie Delicious you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website from time to time. It is for you to check these Terms and Conditions from time to time to ensure you are still happy with the content.

1. Booking Deposit

The Booking Deposit is both non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because it covers the cost of time spent on administrating your wedding cake file, research, shopping, design consultation as well as your cake tasting session. A receipt will be emailed to you once your Booking Deposit has been received. By paying the Booking Deposit, the Buyer is agreeing to the Terms & Conditions as set out on this page.

2. Payments

Any part-payments made towards the cost of your wedding cake and/or cookies are refundable providing at least 6 months notice has been given in writing to The Seller, all cancellations must be addressed to Cookie Delicious, 46A Grove Road, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 8PX.

The balance on your invoice will be due 1 calendar month in advance of your wedding date (or collection date). A receipt will be emailed to you by the Seller once your payment has been received. 

3. Cancellations

If you need to cancel the wedding cake and/or cookie order, please do so as soon as possible. All payments (less your £75.00 Booking Deposit) will be refunded providing you have given at least 6 months written notice. All cancellations must be addressed to Cookie Delicious, 46A Grove Road, Rayleigh, Essex SS6 8PX.

If The Seller needs to cancel your wedding cake and/or cookie order, all payments including your Booking Deposit will be refunded in full to the Buyer.


The Seller requires a signed delivery note by the person in charge at the venue to say that the cake has arrived and that it arrived in perfect condition. Photographs are also taken in situ and will be relied upon. The Seller accepts no liability for cakes that are damaged after they have been delivered to the agreed location/venue

If any damage occurs whilst the cake is in transit with the Seller, then a partial or full refund will be negotiated with the Buyer after the Wedding. Photographs of said damage will be taken and relied upon. 


If the Buyer collects any cake or cookies from the Seller at 46A Grove Road, Rayleigh Essex SS6 8PX, then they are fully responsible for the order once it has left the address. All cakes and cookies are fragile and require care and attention when handling, storing, and displaying. Extreme care should be taken when transporting cakes. The Seller takes no responsibility for cakes collected from the premises.

Where samples of the Goods are shown to the Buyer, the Buyer hereby accepts that they consider such samples to be representative of the Goods.  Any image  provided as part of the wedding cake file is given for illustrative purposes only. Given the nature of the goods, minor variations of colour and design may apply.

5. Complaints

If the Buyer has any complaints regarding the wedding cake and/or cookie order, please email the Seller with a full explanation including photographs.  Consumption of the cake or cookies means that the cake was fit for purpose and no refunds will be given. 


6. Cake Stand Hire

The cost of hire is £20.00. A CASH damage deposit of £60.00 is also required. This can be paid at your cake tasting appointment, or in person up until 2 weeks before your wedding date. This cash damage deposit will be returned to the Buyer when the cake stand has been returned to the Seller in perfect condition. If the stand is damaged, and therefore not suitable to hire to the next client, the damage deposit will not be returned under any circumstances. It is the Buyers responsibility to return the hired cake stand to the Seller at 46A Grove Road, Rayleigh Essex SS6 8PX within 5 days of the wedding. Failure to return the cake stand will result in loss of Damage Deposit.

7. Non Edible Goods and Decorations

Goods may contain non-edible ingredients or decorations, such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugar flowers. These will be detailed on the Delivery Note and must be removed before serving or eating.

8. Permissions

All sketches, designs and cake files are the artistic copyright of Cookie Delicious. You are not permitted to ask another supplier to replicate a sketch designed by the Seller unless written permission has been sought.

Privacy Policy 

Cookie Delicious is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. We do not, will not and have not ever sold or leased Client's personal data to any third party.

• Internal record keeping

• We may use the information to improve our products and services

• We may periodically contact you to submit reviews and feedback or for voting purposes during award applications

• We may share images of your wedding cake together with your names and wedding venue and date unless otherwise instructed not to

• We may have images of your wedding cake published in magazines but they will not feature your personal details unless we have received your express permission


We may contact you by any of the contact information you have submitted to Cookie Delicious. We do not send newsletters or ask clients to subscribe to any regular content. 



A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences. We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.


Controlling your personal information

 If you have previously agreed to us using your personal information for direct marketing purposes, you may change your mind at any time by emailing us at cookiedelicious@hotmail.co.uk.  You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us at: 46A Grove Road, Rayleigh Essex SS6 8PX.  If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.

Social Media

You will be asked to grant permission for Cookie Delicious to use your name & wedding details (venue and date)  when sharing images of your wedding cake and/or cookies on social media, website and in print. If you do not wish for your details to be shared with the images taken by Cookie Delicious, please let us know in writing.
